Crock-Pot Sunday -- Italian Turkey Sandwiches

I ran across this old recipe in my binder and had to share with you. It is an easy sandwich dish and great for when you find turkey breast on special for a good price.

Italian Turkey Sandwiches
Adapted from: Taste of Home Slow Cooker Classics

1 bone-in turkey breast (approx 5.5 lbs), skin removed
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 cup chili sauce
3 Tablespoons white vinegar
2 Tablespoons of Italian Seasoning
4 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
Kaiser or hard sandwich rolls, split

Place turkey, green peppers and onion in slow cooker (at least 5 quart) coated with non-stick spray.
Combine chili suace, vinegar, italian seasoning and bouillon. Pour over turkey & veggies.
Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until meat juices run clear and veggies are tender.

Remove turkey with slotted spoon, reserving cooking liquid. Shred turkey and return to cooking juices.

Spoon 1/2 cup of meat onto each roll.
