The Diet Has Started





Today was the first day of my plan on working out and eating better. I am trying the Body for Life program mixed with a bit of Weight Watchers. Both are great programs and I really need to get my boday back into routine to eating better. My goal is to loose 25-30 lbs.


This morning I used the elipital for 10 minutes. It had been so long since I had worked out so I am taking it slow. :)

I ate small meals through out the day, which wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I did have to remind myself to take a break and eat a snack. So here is what I had today.


After Work-Out
1 Medium Banana
16 oz water

Mid-Morning Snack
1/4 cup cashews
1 Medium banana
20 oz water

Lunch
8 oz Crystal Light
1 small buffalo chicken sandwich on a roll
2 large strawberries

Afternoon Snack
Strawberry yogurt w/ 1/4 cup granola
12 oz Diet Dr Pepper
8 oz water

Dinner
16oz Crystal Light
1 1/2 cup chili
1 roll toasted w/light garlic herb laughing cow cheese

Evening Snack
2 graham crackers w/peanut butter
1 1/2 cups of 2% milk mixed w/no sugar added chocolate carnantion drink mix and whey protein powder

  1. Good Job for your first day! You did absolutely fabulous!!! I need to work on eating the smaller meals and making them every three hours. The boy seems to enjoy fat on stick or things still moving on his plate so i'm usually trying to make him something and me something a little "healthier" or he just gets health food... I told him it's in preparation for the wedding and he's going along with it. haha.
