Thirsty Thursday -- Berry Nutritious Smoothies

Berry Nutritious Smoothies
Adapted from: Taste of Home Healthy Cooking
April/May 2010
1 cup orange juice
1 cup fat-free plain yogurt (or strawberry)
1 medium ripe banana
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
2 T toasted wheat germ
(you can replace 1/2 of the yogurt with 1/2 cup silken firm tofu)
In a blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process for 30 seconds or until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses & serve immediately.

  1. I use to make smoothies all the time and then just stopped. I need to start making them again... maybe when its warmer?
