Super Bowl Sunday

Today is a big football day in our house with lots of yummy food. We started the morning with a big southern breakfast of eggs w/cheese, homemade biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns and orange juice. Today we will graze on various snack items -- dips, PW salsa, boneless wing bites, etc.

One of our favorite dips is similar to the Creamy Jalapeno Dip served at Chuy's. I studied various copy cat recipes and finally found a mix of them that is very similar to the Chuy's Dip but just a bit thicker.

Our Copy Cat Recipe -- Creamy Jalapeno Dip

16 oz sour cream
2 packets of Ranch dip
1/4 c - 1/2 c diced pickled jalapenos (I buy the already diced)
a dribble of the juice
1/2 juice of a lime
1/2 c finely chopped cilantro

Mix all together and chill. It will get a bit hotter as it sits in the fridge. We use as a dip, spread on tortillas and them make tacos or burritos. Really yummy!

The jalapenos and cilantro are to your taste -- if you like hotter, add more jalepenos or if you like more of the cilantro then add more. Sometimes I get a bit too hot and have to add in a bit more lime juice.

Enjoy!!
