Birthday Cupcakes for my Leap Day Baby!

Awhile back we made these cupcakes and Grant decided that they would be perfect for his little birthday lunch celebration this year. Which I must admit I am thankful for. Normally it is a big cake that takes a long time to decorate and I can be a little bit of a not nice person while I am preparing it because I want it to look perfect. :) Since we are doing a family lunch with a good friend of mine and her daughter, that happens to be Grant's best friend, we figured simple cupcakes would be easy and perfect.

The recipe was found at Picky Palate and it take a cake mix and makes it into a wonderful moist and yummy cupcake with the addition of sour cream & a pudding mix.

  1. Loving the cupcakes! They're so much fun!!!

I wish I had your courage to stand up to people and be like this is my place, this is how it's going to be. Sometimes I can be a serious push over which doesn't help.

My parents are cool about stuff, and aren't a pain in my butt when they come here. My mum and I pretty much use the same shampoo so I tell her she doesn`t have to bring any. It's expensive, and when I go home I use hers she comes here she uses mine.

the soon to be in laws... they're any other story... an annoying story. They use cheapy shampoo, and then don`t bring it and want to use mine. Which makes me crazy. They make a MESS of the bathroom, they have two sleep on two separate king size mattresses which means I can have NOTHING on the floor in that room. Do they want me hanging stuff from the ceiling honestly. They treat it likes it's there house and go through my cabinets and just open stuff. They critique me with everything. It's the most stressful time for me!

I don`t get why people have to be like that you know!

Hope you are having a fabulous weekend! Enjoy your yummy cupcakes.
