Any one else have stacks of recipes that they don't use?

I decided today that I need to go through my binder that has tons of recipes in it - they are torn out of magazines, written on scrap pieces of paper and most I have printed out from various websites.

I now have a large pile of paper that needs to go to the trash. Tons of recipes that I would never make and I wonder why in the world did I even print them out or write them down in the first place.

My goal by the end of the weekend is to have all of my cookbooks, cooking mags and recipe binder in order and put away (instead of stacks all around the house). Lets see if I can get it all done.

  1. Me! So my new system, once I put everything away, is this. I have manila envelopes by type of meal (dessert, main, side, etc). I put any new recipes in those. Once I make it and the family likes it, it goes in my binder which just consists of a bunch of page protectors and dividers for each type of meal. I have A LOT of recipes to go through, haha!
