Baking for the week:
Teacher Gifts -- Mini Loafs of Blueberry Muffins & Cookies
Rolls/Bread to take to a work luncheon
Cookies for gifts and for the holidays
Prepping for the week:
I have found some good produce recently that you just pop the bag of veggies in the microwave and steam them. We all are enjoying them and it makes for a quick side dish. I am sure that I could do the same if I just bought the veggies and did a steam bag with them. But with them already prepared it helps with time, especially on busy nights.
Good Deals at the grocery store:
I have been stocking up on ground turkey and ground beef with a meal deal. With the purchase of the meat, I have stocked up on pasta, pasta sauce and parm cheese.
Bone-In Pork Butt was on sale and I picked up 5 lbs for the freezer, next time we load up the smoker, I will have it to pop in there.
Several items that I get for G for snack were on sale or buy one get one free and we are now stocked up on snacks for school/after school/winter break lunch boxes.
